I like the links to CA articles. This is, I'm sure, one of the best features of this wiki if enough people can create similar links. Steve has lots of links to pages in the sidebar, but simply creatikng a page with a few words about what is in a particular article can make a world of difference.
Yeah, I think some of the CA articles should be summarized, I just don't have the energy to do it right now. Hopefully with at least the links there it gives some idea of a framework and is easier to go back and do so. —JK
Actually I meant that the link phrases you'd chosen were useful in and of themselves. —DED
Once we really start digging into things, we should (for example) review all of Steve's posts about UHI and GISS, UHI and HadCRU, etc, and try to find exactly what their adjustment algorithm is. I'm completely making this up, but we should be able to state "The GISS adjustment consists of -.1C for every 100,000 of population" or "The GISS adjustment assigns a station as Urban if (criteria=met) and then adjusts it based on such-and-such weighted average of rural stations"... this wiki can make things easier to understand for newbies BUT can also be useful for every CAer as an organization tool.
