Can someone who knows what they're doing convert this to a page for newbie questions?

Although you can format your wiki however you choose, the convention has been to use the "Talk" pages to discuss the contents of the article to which they are attached - sometimes discussions of article details get too long and would clutter up the article itself. You could simply create a page called Questions about Climate Audit or Ask a Question or simply use the FAQ page to do this. It would also be easier for people to find. - KarlMogel
Hmmm. Didn't know a FAQ page existed. Are there other pages which are always available we should be aware of? Anyway, my point was that if someone comes to a page entitled "a beginners...." he or she is probably going to want to ask a question or two and won't necessarily want to get permission to edit the wiki, so a setup where questions can be asked and then someone else can come along and answer the question. For now I'll create the FAQ page and link it from the Beginner's Guide and we'll see where we're at.

Well, the FAQ page wasn't an automatic page, I'm just relating what has worked in other Wiki Spot wikis. You could, in the Beginner's Guide page, make a statement such as "Still have questions about Climate Audit? Ask them here". Then put a comment box on that page (I'll show you how to make it display alternate text on the FAQ page) and voila! instant Q/A forum. -KJM
Thank you very much. Just what I wanted. Sure simple creating a QA capability, I see. I guess I should go and look more at the training material.

I'm not sure Steve's “big picture” quote belongs here. I'm thinking we need a page of suggestions for posters — see

I suspect this page, like several others will need a snazzy first page and most of the rest of the material cleaned up and put on separate pages, but I've wanted to get something going and let other's modify as needed. - Dave Dardinger 12/9/07
